Onward and Upward for The Class of 2015

On Friday, June 12th, our most recent graduating class celebrated the next step on their 11-year journey to college with a joyous commencement ceremony marking the beginning of their high school careers. “I’m so excited about starting at Cathedral Catholic,” remarked Alondra G., one of our graduating eighth-grade students who will begin her high school career at Cathedral in early September. “Nativity Prep has taught me respect, responsibility, and academic discipline, all of which help assure my success in high school.” Among other excellent college-prep schools where our eight graders will begin the next step of their journey this fall, Francis Parker School, Saint Augustine, The Academy of Our Lady of Peace, Cathedral, The Grauer School, Mater Dei Catholic, and High Tech High remain the most popular choices for Nativity Prep students. “Nativity’s commitment to us (its students) over the course of eleven years, from middle school through high school to college, is so important,” commented another graduating eighth grader from this most recent Class of 2015. “Nativity Prep will continue to support us financially, academically, and socially over the next four years and make sure we are doing all we can to enroll in the best colleges.” After graduating from Cathedral in 2019, Alondra G. hopes to enroll at an Ivy League college and pursue a course of study in pediatric oncology. “It’s been a dream of mine for a long while,” she said. “I want to put my education to good use after college and help children suffering from cancer.” Nativity Prep’s eleven-year commitment to its students is highly unique, and relies on the generosity of its community of benefactors to support scholarship funding for high school for its graduates each year.
