A.M.I.G.O.S. Mentoring Program

Like our Graduate Support Program (GSP), our mentoring program functions as a comprehensive support program for our students.

While our GSP serves as a bridge to high school and college, primarily dedicated to our students after the graduate, our A.M.I.G.O.S. Mentoring Program (Adult Mentors Inspiring Growth in Our Students) focuses exclusively on our students’ social and emotional well-being while they are enrolled as sixth, seventh, and eighth graders at our school.

A.M.I.G.O.S. provides the following:

  • adults from the local professional community who develop and sustain a relationship of support for students outside of the classroom
  • a minimum of an hour each week, on-site, between adult mentor and student
  • a variety of activities for students and mentors to engage in, including a series of annual off-campus group events
  • over 40 “matches” each year for our students
