Summer Semester
New and returning students are required each year to attend our five-week semester for academic enrichment throughout the summer interim. The weekly schedule for the summer semester includes three days of academic classes (reading, writing, mathematics, and elective) and two days of off-site field trips—one to Coronado Beach, and another to either a museum, a high school, or a college.
As a supplement to our five-week semester, and with generous scholarship aid from the YMCA of San Diego County, all of our returning students attend weeklong summer resident camps through the YMCA of San Diego County.
