Our Students

Students arrive at our doors with great assets - intelligence, curiosity and resilience, among others - but also with some significant disadvantages. Many come from families living at or well below the poverty line. Their home lives can be troubled, unstable or even chaotic. And they face all too many distractions in their neighborhoods. Nativity Prep Academy accepts students who show that they have potential to excel academically, even though many enter with standardized test scores one to three years below grade level.

Our students come to us at a pivotal age, during a narrow window of opportunity when educators have the power to instill effective work habits and attitudes, reinforce positive academic and social behaviors, and instill a love of learning that will serve the student for a lifetime.
